Wendy Carver-Herbert Garden City Council

Wendy Carver-Herbert is a longtime Garden City resident with professional experience in business, public policy, and community service. She spent much of her career in corporate communications and consulting before shifting her focus to nonprofit leadership and local volunteer work.

Her public service includes six sessions as nonpartisan staff in the Idaho House of Representatives, where she supported committees dealing with commerce, energy, and judiciary issues. Locally, she has served as Vice Chair and Treasurer of the Garden City Public Library Foundation and on the advisory board of the Garden City Early Learning Collaborative. She also helps lead parent workshops through the Ready for Kindergarten program.

Wendy’s background also includes roles on the Garden City Boise River Overlay Advisory Committee, hospice volunteer work, and nonprofit board leadership supporting senior services.

She and her husband have lived in Garden City for many years and are active in community life. Together, they have raised a family, welcomed grandchildren, and support local organizations.
