Dan, a long time resident of Clifton, Idaho, has dedicated 38 years to farming and ranching in the area. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from BYU in Provo, Utah. Beyond his agricultural pursuits, Dan has owned and operated several successful small businesses, demonstrating a keen sense of entrepreneurship. His commitment to community service is evident from his ongoing roles on the local school board since 2013 and the State Farm Bureau Board since 2015. He has also contributed his expertise to the American Farm Bureau’s Organic and Direct Marketing Committees. In recognition of his contributions to agriculture and education, Dan was awarded the FFA Honorary State Farmer Degree in 2012. He is a father to four children, instilling in them the values of hard work and community service.
