About Adams County Republican Central Committee

The Adams County Republican Central Committee is the official governing body of the Republican Party in Adams County, a small, rural county in west-central Idaho with its county seat in Council and a population of approximately 4,000 residents. The committee coordinates Republican party activities in a county with a deeply conservative tradition rooted in its agricultural, timber, and ranching economy and a strong culture of individual liberty, Second Amendment rights advocacy, and stewardship of the land. The federal government owns a majority of Adams County’s land area, including portions of the Payette National Forest and Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, making federal land management a prominent local issue. The committee recruits and supports Republican candidates for state legislative races in District 8 and local county offices in one of Idaho’s most consistently conservative counties.
