Phil Hart

Incumbent Phil Hart, a candidate for Idaho Senate District 2, is a businessman and civil/structural engineer with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, he is a licensed engineer in 12 states. He previously served seven years on the Remington Water District Board and has a diverse background, including experience as a MSHA Certified Open-Pit Miner and private pilot. Serving four terms in the Idaho House of Representatives from 2004 to 2012, he focused on legislation to reduce government regulation and interference. This small business owner and incumbent is running for a second term.
