Idaho Freedom PAC is a political action committee founded in 2021 and directed by Dustin Hurst, formerly vice president of the Idaho Freedom Foundation. Based at 750 W. Bannock, Box 346 in Boise, the PAC states its mission as combating “special interest groups in the State House” — framing that positions mainstream business and legislative leadership interests as the special interests while presenting the IFF-aligned faction as the grassroots alternative. The PAC releases voter guides and candidate endorsements aligned with the Idaho Freedom Foundation’s Freedom Index rankings, directing resources to IFF-preferred candidates in Republican primary races. Hurst was identified in a 2022 Idaho Capital Sun investigation as the registered agent for Respect Idaho, a linked entity whose website text appeared verbatim on the Citizens Alliance of Idaho’s site — reflecting the interconnected nature of Idaho’s IFF-aligned political network. Idaho Freedom PAC operates in close coordination with Citizens Alliance of Idaho, Stop Idaho RINOs, and Think Liberty Idaho PAC.
