The Idaho Young Republicans (IYR) is the official youth auxiliary of the Idaho Republican Party, open to Republicans between the ages of 18 and 40. The organization works to recruit, train, and engage young conservatives in the political process at local, state, and national levels, serving as a pipeline for the next generation of Idaho Republican leadership. IYR members participate in campaign volunteering, candidate recruitment, and leadership development programs affiliated with the national Young Republicans Federation. The organization has produced alumni who have gone on to serve in the Idaho Legislature, on county commissions, and in other elected and appointed positions across the state. IYR holds regular meetings and political training events in Boise, Nampa, Pocatello, and Coeur d’Alene — reflecting the geographic breadth of Idaho’s Republican base.
