Bob Nonini

Bob Nonini previously served 14 years in the Idaho State Legislature from 2004 to 2018. He is now running for office again for several important reasons. First, he believes that the current Republican representative has failed to make any positive impact in Legislative District 5 during his 12 years in office. “He takes his voting instructions from a small, vocal group and ignores the real concerns of his constituents,” Bob states, emphasizing the need for a representative who listens to the people.

Additionally, Bob is concerned about the negativity within the local Kootenai County Republican Party, which has influenced his decision to run as an Independent candidate. “I want to represent everyone, not just a select few,” he explains. Known for his conservative voting record, Bob aims to bring constructive change and a fresh perspective to the legislature. His commitment to serving the community reflects his belief that effective leadership should prioritize the needs and voices of all constituents.
