Ron Mendive

Mendive, a longtime North Idaho resident, has over 60 years of experience in the region’s industries, including mining, logging, and construction. Currently self-employed in land service and excavating, he also played a key role in developing technology for a successful international line of pellet stoves. Rooted in the Silver Valley, he enjoyed his youth through fishing, hunting, and skiing. He met his wife Sherlene at North Idaho College over four decades ago, and they built their dream of a small farm where they raise three children in a log home south of Coeur d ‘Alene.
