Sarah Butler

Sarah Butler has been a resident of Nampa for 25 years, initially moving there for employment reasons. Her decision to remain in the area was influenced by meeting her partner, Matthew. They have two teenage children, with their eldest preparing for college in the upcoming fall.

Throughout her tenure in Nampa, Sarah has held various positions in manufacturing, offices, and substitute teaching. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Boise State University and has managed two small businesses. Additionally, Sarah contributed her time to the Nampa School Boundary Committee.

Sarah’s decision to run for office stems from her perception that the legislature prioritizes cultural battles over addressing critical issues such as housing affordability, property taxes, growth management, and sustainable funding for public education.
