About

The Ada County Republican Central Committee (ACRCC) is the official governing body of the Republican Party in Ada County, Idaho's most populous county and home to Boise, the state capital. Composed of precinct captains elected by registered Republicans in each of Ada County's legislative precincts, the ACRCC oversees candidate endorsements, Republican voter registration drives, and coordination with the Idaho Republican Party on statewide campaigns. Ada County's rapid urbanization — the Treasure Valley metro now exceeds 800,000 residents — has created both opportunities and challenges for the county's Republican organization, as new communities across the county's rapidly growing edges add voters to the Republican base while Boise's urban core has trended more competitive in recent election cycles. The committee recruits candidates for all Ada County legislative districts, coordinates precinct captain elections, and supports Republicans in local races for Ada County Commission, clerk, prosecutor, and other county offices.
