Political Potatoes is an Idaho political commentary publication created by Gregory Graf, CEO of Snake River Strategies, a political communications firm based in Eagle, Idaho. Graf launched the Political Potatoes Substack newsletter in early 2024 and describes the publication's mission as clearing up "misinformation and deception in Idaho politics." The publication covers Idaho legislative races, Republican Party internal politics, organization funding networks, and out-of-state money flows with an explicitly accountability-focused editorial perspective. East Idaho News profiled Political Potatoes in October 2025, calling it one of Idaho's fastest-growing political newsletters.
