Idaho Republican Party

The Idaho Republican Party (IDGOP) is the state's dominant political party. Republicans hold the governorship, both U.S. Senate seats, all U.S. House seats, and supermajorities in both chambers of the Idaho Legislature. Dorothy Moon, a former state representative from Stanley, has chaired the party since 2022, and delegates re-elected her to a third term at the June 2026 state convention in Meridian. The party adopts its platform and elects its officers at its biennial state convention.
