An Idaho ballot is mostly down-ballot, and detailed information on those races is the hardest to find. IdahoVoters.com exists to give every voter factual information about the candidates on their ballot, not just the high-profile races.
What the guide covers today
The guide has a researched profile for every candidate for the Idaho Legislature on the November 3, 2026 ballot: 199 candidates across all 35 districts. Each profile follows the same sourcing rules and links to its sources, so a voter can put two candidates side by side and compare them on the same terms. Statewide and county races appear in the ballot lookup, and detailed profiles for those offices are being added.
Voters can also look up their ballot by address. Enter where you live and the tool shows the races you will actually vote on, so you don't have to work out your district from a map.
Limited by time, not ambition
The guide stops where the hours run out. The goal is to go deeper on judicial races and county races, which the site does not yet cover in depth. Those are the contests where a voter is most likely to be handed a name with nothing behind it.
Covering them means pulling public records, filings, and news reporting for each candidate, checking every claim against a source, and keeping the pages current as things change. That takes research and verification time, and it grows with every race added. Reader support is what would fund that expansion.
Who is behind this
IdahoVoters.com was created by Gregory Graf, who builds and maintains it through Snake River Strategies, the Idaho LLC he founded. The site is mostly self-funded. Take Back Idaho gave one-time help early on, and the ongoing work has come out of Graf's own time and pocket since.
Researching and maintaining a statewide candidate database takes significant ongoing personal time and expense, on top of Graf's other work. Snake River Strategies is a business, and this site is part of it. Contributions from readers would help the guide grow without depending on any one funder.
