Kristy Reed Johnson

Kristy Reed Johnson, born in Wichita, Kansas, spent her early years in Oakley before moving to Prairie Village for high school. After studying at Kansas University, she embarked on a 32-year career with Trans World Airlines (TWA), traveling the globe and gaining insight into diverse cultures.

In 1984, she married Ron Johnson, a TWA pilot, and together they have three children and five grandchildren. Retiring in 1996, they settled in North Idaho, drawn by its natural beauty and the warmth of its residents.

Concerned by divisive ideologies infiltrating Idaho, Kristy opposes movements promoting a “White Christian Nationalist Homeland,” emphasizing they do not represent the broader community. She criticizes attempts to influence local institutions and legislative decisions, particularly regarding women’s healthcare.

Kristy seeks to represent ordinary Idahoans in Boise, advocating for inclusivity and diversity in governance. She asks for support to bring the voices of her community to the forefront of political decision-making.
