Megan Egbert


Megan Egbert is a third-year law student focusing on employment law after nearly 15 years in public library service. Born and raised in Idaho, she holds degrees from Boise State University and the University of North Texas. Megan became involved in Idaho politics in 2006, opposing the amendment banning same-sex marriage. She’s volunteered for various campaigns and received recognition for her contributions, including awards from the Idaho Business Review and Boise State University.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Megan has served as a Guardian ad Litem and helped found the Treasure Valley Children’s Theater. During the 2024 Legislative Session, she substituted in both the Senate and House of the Idaho Legislature.

Above all, Megan cherishes her role as a mother to her three children and a wife to her husband Mike.
