Lee Wallace is the Democratic nominee for Idaho House of Representatives District 5, Seat B, on the November 3, 2026 general election ballot. She won the May 19, 2026 Democratic primary unopposed, receiving 831 votes, 100 percent of ballots cast. Her opponent in November is Republican incumbent Tony Wisniewski, who is currently in his 4th term representing the seat. Wallace filed for the seat during the February 2026 filing period, when 105 seats in the Idaho Legislature and seven statewide offices drew declared candidates, according to Idaho Education News.

Background

Wallace is an adjunct professor of communication at North Idaho College. She teaches on the Coeur d'Alene campus, in the Communication and Fine Arts division, and has been part of the faculty since 2012.
