Guy Bundy is a retired Air Force veteran who served in Afghanistan post-9/11 and taught at a rural high school. He taught American government at Mountain Home High School, participated in the U.S. Department of State’s Teachers for Global Classrooms program, and received the 2019-2020 VFW National High School Civics Teacher of the Year award. Bundy also coached high school baseball and basketball and served on the Mountain Home City Council. He is an incumbent representative seeking his second term in the Idaho State House of Representatives District 8 Seat. He formerly served District 2a 3A as a house representative in 2020-2022; n 20e had lost his bid for this seat in the primary.

Three of the donations went to Reps. Matt Bundy, R-Mountain Home, Lori McCann, R-Lewiston, and Britt Raybould, R-Rexburg, who opposed a separate House proposal that would have allowed lawmakers to sue to block the Phoenix acquisition. That proposal passed the House but the Senate never took it up.
Republican Reps. Matt Bundy, Chenele Dixon, Jack Nelsen and Greg Lanting and Democratic Rep. Sonia Galaviz — all teachers — voted in favor of the bill. In fact, everyone in the House who works in a school now or used to work in one voted for the bill.
“We’ve seen the wishes and the direction that we’re gonna go on these budgets. And at this point, I fully support where we are,” Rep. Matt Bundy, R-Mountain Home, told House lawmakers as they began to debate the budgets.
